The installation process matches the PADS4 Server setup. See Install PADS4 Server and run the installer.
Configuring a Sub Server
To configure a Sub Server, complete the following steps in PADS4 System Management on the Main Server:
- Open PADS4 System Management on the Main Server.
- In the left menu, select Servers.
- In the ribbon bar, click Add Sub Server.
- Enter a display name for the Sub Server as it should appear in PADS4.
- Verify that a valid license is assigned to the Sub Server.
Network Port Configuration
PADS4 uses specific network ports for its internal communication and services. Refer to the Network Ports Configuration page for the full list of required ports and settings.

Server installation requirements
Do not install PADS4 Foundation on a workstation or Viewer PC. It must run on a dedicated server machine.
